2. Methods and Legal Reasons for Collecting Personal Data
TÜRGEV collects personal data directly from scholarship recipients, scholarship candidates, dormitory students, dormitory student candidates, donors, visitors, online visitors, and internal solution partners/suppliers, through auditory, electronic, or written data learned via CCTV, log records, physical and other communication channels, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in the Law, primarily for the purposes of continuing and improving the Foundation's activities, and in proportion to the purposes specified below, in accordance with the legal reasons stated in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
3. Purposes for Processing Personal Data
TÜRGEV may process your personal data in accordance with the fundamental principles set forth by the Law and within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, for the purposes specified below.
- To carry out the necessary work by relevant business units for the realization of activities conducted by the Foundation and to manage related business processes.
- To plan and/or execute the activities of conducting effectiveness/efficiency and/or appropriateness analyses of Foundation activities.
- To plan and/or execute activities ensuring business continuity.
- To plan, audit, and execute information security processes.
- To monitor the Foundation's finance and accounting operations.
- To plan and execute the Foundation's operational processes.
- To plan and execute training activities inside and outside the Foundation.
- To manage relationships with business partners and/or suppliers.
- To monitor requests and/or complaints.
- To monitor the Foundation's legal affairs and fulfill legal responsibilities.
- To plan and execute necessary operational activities to ensure that the Foundation's activities are conducted in accordance with Foundation procedures and/or relevant legislation.
- To provide information to authorized institutions as required by legislation.
- To plan and execute the Foundation's audit activities.
- To ensure the security of Foundation campuses and/or facilities.
- To ensure the security of Foundation operations.
- To ensure the security of Foundation campuses and movable properties.
- To ensure the security of Foundation fixed assets and/or resources.
- To create visitor records.

4. To Whom and For What Purpose Personal Data Can Be Transferred
Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and legally authorized private institutions in accordance with the fundamental principles set forth by the Law and within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, for the purposes mentioned above.

5. Your Rights as a Personal Data Owner Listed in Article 11 of the Law
As a personal data owner, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:
- To learn whether personal data is being processed,
- To request information regarding personal data if it has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, whether domestically or abroad,
- To request the correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the Law,
- To request notification of the transactions carried out under subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- To object to the emergence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- To request compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
