    Master's and Ph.D. students can apply and register for TÜRGEV dormitories. When applying for a dormitory at www.turgev.org address, the academic level can be specified with the education level option.

  • I am staying in your dormitories. I want to stay in a different dormitory because of the internship and education?

    You can request information by writing to our e-mail address [email protected] with your official document or you can forward your request to the dormitory administration where you are registered.

  • When will the applications for transfer between dormitories start?

    Transfer dates are announced by the dormitory administration at the end of the semester. We kindly ask you to create a request when it is announced.

  • I am staying in TÜRGEV dormitories, but I want to make a dormitory change. Can I have a transfer?

  • My sister and I are staying in different dormitories. Can I register for my sister's dormitory?

    On the date of the transfer announcement, you must submit your request to the dormitory administration for evaluation.

  • Can I choose the dormitory where I will stay?

    According to the legal regulations, you can enroll in the dormitory in the province where the school you are enrolled in is located. When you make your application, you can create your dormitory request according to the selection of the province where your school is located.

  • How can I get information about the facilities of the dormitory where I will be transferred?

  • Until when can I transfer as my transplant request is approved?

    You can switch when your dormitory administrators have completed the necessary interviews. You need to contact the dormitory administration for detailed information.

  • Will my scholarship continue in the dormitory where I will be transferred?

    The scholarship allocation covers 1 period of study. It is re-evaluated every year. You can get information about the scholarship application by contacting the dormitory administration to which you are transferring.  However, in the evaluation of the transfer within the semester (school relocation, lateral transfer, etc.), your scholarship continues by defining the dormitory to which you are transferred.

  • When can I bring my stuff to the dormitory where I have been transferred?

    When your transfer request is approved, you can start your necessary processes by completing the purchase procedure with the information of your dormitory administration.

  • Do you support us in moving during the transfer?

    The process of moving goods belongs to the responsibility of the student and her/his parents.

  • When do the dormitories open?

    Our dormitories provide official service between 16 September and 16 June. It is evaluated according to the opening dates of high school and university and announced to our students. (The pandemic process is exceptionally carried out depending on the official announcement of the Ministry of Health.)

  • Why can't we enter late?

    Based on the safety of the student and the ability to benefit from the trainings held in the dormitory, dormitory entry and exit times are determined.

  • Which dormitories have single rooms?

  • Why can't we stay two people in the room?

    According to the official regulation, the number of people in the room is determined in such a way that the room of 2 people is not arranged.

  • Why is attendance during study hours compulsory?

    Your participation in the study is important to increase your success in your courses and to follow your courses efficiently.

  • I have a weekend classroom; can I enter the dormitory late?

    You need to submit your course schedule and parent petition to your dormitory administration for evaluation. The dormitory administration will inform you about the result of your request.

    Yes, students who are enrolled in a high school or university in Turkey can stay.

  • I am looking for a dormitory close to the institution where I do my internship. Can I stay in your dormitories part-time?

    Accommodation requests for an internship can be documented and made to the [email protected] address. According to the relevant legislation, the necessary returns will be provided.

  • Can we visit your dormitory?

    You can make an appointment by contacting the www.turgev.org address of the dormitory you request to visit with the contact number or e-mail information. We inform you that you can visit the dormitory at the specified date and time.

  • I am a student who stayed in the dormitory during my undergraduate education before. I enrolled in undergraduate education for the second time; can I apply for the dormitory?

    When registration occurs in the vacant quota of the dormitory, you will be informed of the interview according to your reserve order.

  • Can Erasmus or Farabi students apply for a short-term stay in the dormitories?

    Yes, you can apply. If you are a student and meet the requirements, you may be subject to our procedure.

  • Can I freeze my dormitory registration? Can all my rights be held until next year?

    The dormitory registration freeze process cannot be done. If you graduate or leave, your application will be re-evaluated when you return to the dormitory.

  • I'm not a student. Can I stay in your dormitories?

    Under the official regulations, those who do not submit the student certificate cannot register in the dormitories.

  • Has my dormitory application been completed?

    You can get up-to-date information about your application status by contacting the dormitory administration you requested.

  • Is accommodation provided to the guests (including the family) of the students staying in the dormitories?

    There is no guest accommodation in our dormitories.

  • I both study and work. Can I stay in your dormitories?

  • Do you have an age limit to stay in dormitories?

    We do not have an age limit. You need to submit your student certificate and review our memorandum.

  • Can I apply to more than one dormitory?

    You can choose three dormitories during the application. You will be directed to the most suitable dormitory according to the quota status.

  • I am an evening school student. Can I stay in your dormitories?

    Evening school students can accommodate in our dormitories. According to your preferences during the application, you will be directed to the dormitory with the available quota.

  • I both study and work. Can I stay in your dormitories?

    You can apply. You must examine the dormitory memorandum and report your employment status to the dormitory administration.

  • I am a Distance Education student. Can I stay at your dormitory?

    Due to legal regulations, we can only serve students enrolled in formal education institutions.

  • Do we clean our rooms?

    Room cleaning in secondary education dormitories is carried out by cleaning staff and in higher education dormitories by students.

  • Do you provide lunch?

    We do not have lunch service except for our secondary school dormitories which are on the same campus as the school.

  • Do I have to pay extra for the dorm fee? (food, laundry)

    All of our services for accommodation in our dormitories are included in the dormitory fee.

  • Is there internet in your dormitories?

    There is 24-hour Wi-Fi service in our dormitories.

  • Can I stay in your dormitory if I come for a seminar?

    You can forward your dormitory accommodation request to the relevant dormitory administration for evaluation.
