The Education Support Programs Center, abbreviated as EDEP, is an institution established in 2014 under the structure of TÜRGEV to provide additional education in Arabic, English, Islamic Sciences, and Social Sciences to successful female students studying at universities. Since then, it has demonstrated that it meets an important need in higher education in Turkey by receiving significant interest from successful students of many prestigious universities in Istanbul.

EDEP, which started its education in the summer of 2014 at the historical venue of Muhafız Konağı next to the Hırka-i Şerif Mosque, has successfully continued its activities by opening its Üsküdar branch at the beginning of the 2015-2016 academic year due to high demand. On the other hand, the EDEP Specialization program was launched in the summer of 2015, starting educational activities with a small number of successful students continuing their postgraduate studies. While our students receive advanced Islamic Sciences and Social Sciences education from leading professors in their fields at EDEP, they have also begun to take on roles as researchers, assistants, advisors, and teachers at EDEP while preparing for their master's and doctoral degrees. Our specialization program is successfully conducted as a researcher and teacher training program.

Another success achieved by EDEP is the International Advanced Islamic Studies Summer School, which was first held in the summer of 2015 and continues successfully every year. Students from many countries, ranging from America to Japan, who are pursuing their postgraduate education at leading universities in the world, participated in this program. Students were selected from many applications and studied advanced level classical texts in Islamic Sciences with leading professors. Thus, EDEP has begun to be recognized in the international education community.

The system that prepares students to become academics by guiding them through this educational process, which they will enjoy the fruits of, has showcased various examples in the East and West and has proven its merit. Among the academic studies conducted in Turkey, the EDEP Honor Program holds a privilege as it is the first academic project aimed at female students who will be the scholars of the future.

Currently, EDEP hosts the Honor Program for undergraduate students, the Specialization Program for master's and doctoral students, the Summer School for students receiving higher education from the international arena every summer, and the Islamic Sciences Summer School program for undergraduate students within Turkey. It offers its students accommodation in the most decent conditions, an environment supportive of all kinds of scholarly activities, and success scholarships as a reward for their efforts.
