During the period from December 10 to 20, we brought together young people and youth workers from Turkey, North Macedonia, and Italy on the same learning ground; we accompanied them in developing projects that could transform their ideas into social benefit.

Throughout the workshop, we worked with our youth focusing on project cycle management. We conducted a holistic learning process covering needs analysis, goal setting, method development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The gathering of participants from different disciplines and cultures enriched and made this process more efficient.

A learning process extending from idea to project

We do not see youth work as limited to idea generation; we value the transformation of ideas into projects with responsibility, method, and social impact goals. The Youth Workshop from Idea to Action, designed with this understanding, provided young people the opportunity to transform their thoughts into structured, applicable, and sustainable projects.

The five project teams formed during the workshop presented their projects addressing social issues to the jury on the closing day. These presentations marked an important stage where young people turned the knowledge and skills they acquired into tangible outputs.

Closing message from our General Director Dr. Selim Gençal

In our closing program, our General Director Dr. Selim Gençal expressed our approach to youth work with the following words:

"We do not see youth work as limited to generating ideas. We value the combination of ideas with method and responsibility, and their transformation into projects that find a response in the field."

Our General Director emphasized that project production is not just a technical process, but also a responsibility area centered on social impact.

What is a Youthpass certificate?

It is a certification document issued for projects carried out under the Erasmus+ Youth Program and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) by the European Union. Beyond being recognized by the European Commission, it is a direct certification tool of the commission.

We are building the future together

We approach youth work not with short-term outputs but with a long-term development perspective as TÜRGEV. We value preparing our youth not only for today's needs but also for tomorrow's responsibilities. This approach is one of the strongest reflections of our foundation's 30 years of accumulation and determination.

We sincerely thank all our trainers, team members, and the young people who built this learning space with us during the Youth Workshop from Idea to Action.
We are determined to continue supporting young people to be more equipped, more visible, and more effective in the international arena.
