A New Center for Youth: Güzel İşler Fabrikası Opened in Konya

As Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı (TÜRGEV), we launched our project Güzel İşler Fabrikası (GİF) in Konya, aimed at contributing to the personal and academic development of young people. This center, filled with education, workshops, and innovative activities, has already created a significant impact with the interest of our youth.

The GİF Wind in Konya

We held the promotional program of our Beautiful Works Factory at the Conference Hall of Konya Selçuklu Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School for Science and Social Sciences. The program started with a speech by our TÜRGEV Board Chair, Av. Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz.

In her speech, Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz expressed the following words:

"As TÜRGEV, we have seen our youth as 'carriers of ideas that will change the world' since 1996. No matter what position you are in life, our greatest goal has been to guide you in doing good, right, and beautiful works. This is how Güzel İşler Fabrikası was born with this vision.

Today, we offer our youth both education and the opportunity to realize their projects at our educational campuses in Istanbul, Ankara, and Şırnak. Our goal is to expand GİF across Turkey to provide these opportunities to more young people.

Our story of GİF in Konya began with the intense demands of the local youth. The requests were so great that we started our work without waiting to open a campus in Konya as TÜRGEV. Currently, we are continuing our activities at Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu Project Anatolian Imam Hatip High School and Seyit Ulugülyağcı Imam Hatip Middle School. I would like to thank the school principals and administrators who have not withheld their support during this process." she stated.

After Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz's speech, Dr. Emre Topoğlu inspired our youth with his speech titled "A Call to Youth."

What Was at the Opening of GİF in Konya?

The TÜRGEV GİF Konya Promotion Program, which attracted great interest from young people, was filled with fun and educational workshops. At the closing of the program, the music performance by Sedat Anar and Damla Anar provided enjoyable moments for the participants.
