The theater performance "Vefa: The Flowing Time, The Remaining Human," in which our students at the Konya Campus actively participated in every stage from writing to staging, once again highlighted the transformative power of art and the importance of value-based development.

The work takes the audience on an emotionally charged journey, prompting thoughts on loyalty, belonging, responsibility, and human connections, which contemporary individuals are increasingly distancing themselves from; it established a meaningful bridge between the past and the future.

An Inner Journey in Pursuit of Loyalty

The play tells the story of three young people lost among stopped clocks, who, guided by a wise watchmaker they encounter in an old watch shop, rediscover themselves. Progressing with the motto "You cannot stop time, but you can rebuild yourself," the work emphasizes that loyalty is not just a gratitude towards the past, but a sense of responsibility that heals individuals, relationships, and society.

This story, reaching towards the future from rusted hearts, offered the audience a chance to re-examine their own lives, family relationships, and social ties.

Young People Create with Art, Grow with Values

The theater play, entirely prepared by our GİF students, stood out as an important work that supports young people in taking responsibility in their artistic production processes, gaining teamwork experience, and strengthening their value-oriented perspectives.

Our students, who received great acclaim for their stage performances, demonstrated that art offers a powerful opportunity not only as a means of expression but also in preserving and conveying social values.
