As TÜRGEV, we say "Continuing for a Strong and Great Turkey" together with the members of the National Will Platform to which we belong.

On Sunday, June 24, 2018, approximately 55 million voters will go to the polls for the first time to elect the President of the Republic of Turkey and the members of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in the new system that they previously approved by referendum. Since the transition to a multi-party system, our people have set an example for many countries by freely determining the party and candidate they want to form the government. They have reached a level of maturity that can be pointed out in terms of the realization of elections and the reflection of the voter's will at the ballot box.

Thanks to the governments formed in line with the democratic maturity and preferences of our people, our country has been managed and grown steadily, especially in recent years. Significant investments have been made in many areas such as health, transportation, education, communication, and defense industry, yielding successful results. Thus, the Republic of Turkey has become an economic and political center of attraction and power in its region. Bridges have been built with our heartland and our relations with our ancient civilization have been developed.

Despite the insidious obstacles and coup attempts carried out by malicious forces both inside and outside the country in the last decade, the mentioned progress has continued. Plans aimed at undermining the country's survival have been thwarted, and the criminals have been given the punishments they deserve, and this continues. Despite the sieges targeting the existence of the state and the unity and solidarity of society, Civil Society Organizations, which are the capillaries of a country, have received unprecedented support in both legal terms and in their areas of activity compared to previous periods.

Obstacles to expressing and living the religious and spiritual values of the people have been removed. Women and girls who want to wear headscarves have been freed from the prohibitions imposed on them in schools and in public offices. Imam-Hatip schools have been opened in sufficient numbers to meet the needs of the people, and the rights of students receiving education in these schools, which were previously blocked during earlier governments, have been restored. Restrictions on Quran education have been lifted. The wounds inflicted on the victims of February 28 have been healed, and the social trauma experienced by our nation has been mitigated.

Every citizen in different segments of society has expressed their thoughts through all means of communication without insults and hatred. Again, every idea and thought has been able to exercise the freedom to organize and engage in activities as long as it does not lead to terrorism and violence.

As a gesture of gratitude and compliment for all these positive developments, we believe that the support and favor of our people for our President Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN and the AK Party cadres who continue their work under his leadership should continue for the completion of unfinished investments, addressing deficiencies, and advancing our country further in every field for the unity and solidarity of our nation.

As the National Will Platform, together with hundreds of NGOs and millions of our members, on Sunday; we will reflect our will for stability, freedom, security, peace, and progress at the ballot box, and once again we will say CONTINUE in a strong and determined manner as before.
