The Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Mücahit Yentür and our TÜRGEV Board Chairwoman Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz signed a collaboration that will be aimed at all students studying in official schools in Istanbul. The programs will be completely free, based on volunteerism, and will be implemented with parental consent.

Within the scope of this collaboration; workshops, seminars, courses, projects, and competitions will be organized to help students develop in scientific, cultural, artistic, and sports fields. The activities will be carried out under the coordination of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and with the content support of TÜRGEV, without disrupting the educational process.

The aim is to develop not only the academic achievements of students but also their 21st-century skills, social-emotional resilience, awareness of social responsibility, and competencies in building strong connections.

Similar educational collaborations have been implemented in Europe for a long time. Especially in Scandinavian countries, public authorities and non-governmental organizations are carrying out joint projects to support the multifaceted development of students. This model stands out with its structure based on transparency and volunteerism.

The collaboration, which will be valid for two years, will progress in a completely transparent, inclusive, and auditable manner during the planning, implementation, and evaluation phases.

While these activities are carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Education, our foundation sees adding value to the educational journey of young people as one of its most important responsibilities. We will continue to contribute to the upbringing of a youth that is resilient, has a sense of responsibility, can build strong connections with society, and combines national values with universal skills.
