The launch meeting of our project was held on May 28 in Gaziantep and received great interest. During our promotional meeting, TÜRGEV our Chairperson, Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Feray Yılmaz, and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Attorney Assoc. Prof. Sefa Koçoğlu addressed the youth, emphasizing the importance of the project and the transformative power of goodness in society.

As our Chairperson, Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, emphasized:

"Every pain leaves a mark, but this mark heals not over time; it heals through solidarity. Every step taken towards goodness nourishes the spirit of youth and grows the hope of society."

We are here on this path we embarked on with this belief to make our youth feel that they are not alone!

We Provide Not Only Shelter but Also Safety After Disasters

Immediately after the earthquakes on February 6, we opened the doors of our dormitories to nearly a thousand citizens. We offered them not just a roof but a warm home. Through the Disaster Support Scholarship Program we established during this process, we provided scholarships to approximately 400 students. Today, we continue to accompany the youth affected by the earthquake in their educational journeys with Special Support Scholarships.

In addition, we provide not only material but also spiritual support. With our psychosocial programs that support the processes of loss, mourning, and recovery from trauma, we contribute to the individual and societal healing of our youth.

Healing Through Art, Strengthening Through Activities

Within the scope of the project, we aim to reach 500 youth directly and 1000 indirectly. Alongside psychosocial support groups, we meet with our youth in art workshops such as marbling, wood printing, and acrylic painting, providing them with a space to express themselves.

With our cinema, theater, sports, and environmental activities, we support the integration of our youth into social life; we enhance their resilience through disaster preparedness, stress management training, and trauma-themed conferences.

Together We Are Stronger, More Hopeful

We believe that as TÜRGEV, we are not just an institution but a great movement that is awake in conscience, open-hearted, and takes responsibility in every area related to humanity.

With the "Increase the State of Goodness, Empower the Youth" project, we are resolutely continuing this responsibility, healing the wounds of our youth together.
