In our training program, we organized theoretical sessions on the definition, structure, and sustainability principles of social entrepreneurship. Participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in topics such as business plan preparation, target audience analysis, and strategic planning through hands-on workshops. With these trainings, we aimed to equip young people to be more competent in the field of social entrepreneurship and to develop projects that will provide social benefits.
Through the technical visits we conducted as part of our project, we reinforced the learning process with field experiences. We received information on environmental sustainability and scientific research at the Microbiology Institute in Ohrid. During a seminar on the ecosystem of Lake Ohrid, the importance of biological diversity in the region was emphasized. Additionally, our visit to the Maarif Schools in Skopje provided us with the opportunity to observe a different educational model on-site and share experiences with educators.
We did not neglect the cultural aspect of the project. Through cultural trips we organized in cities such as Skopje, Tetovo, Ohrid, and Tirana in Albania, as well as visits to historical sites like the Saint Naum Monastery and the Bay of Bones Water Museum, participants had the chance to closely learn about the cultural heritage of the Balkan geography. These trips strengthened the international dialogue and understanding environment by allowing our youth to interact with different cultures.
With our project that encourages the active participation of young people in the field of social innovation, we acted with a vision that prioritizes knowledge sharing, cultural interaction, and sustainable development. We thank all our stakeholders who contributed to this valuable collaboration.
