As the TÜRGEV family, we commemorated the late Mrs. Fatma Göksu with the recitation of the Quran and a prayer for her soul at our dormitory named after her, Fatma Göksu Girls' Dormitory, with gratitude and remembrance.
As the TÜRGEV family, we commemorated the late Fatma Göksu Hanımefendi with respect and gratitude at our Üsküdar Fatma Göksu Girls' Student Dormitory, which proudly carries her name.
On Wednesday, January 7th, during the program we held with the participation of our President Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz and our General Manager Selim Gençal, we organized a meaningful memorial dinner accompanied by the recitation of the Qur'an and a prayer for the completion of the Qur'an.
Fatma Göksu Hanımefendi, who was an example to her family and surroundings with her selflessness, patience, and prayers throughout her life, made heartfelt efforts for her children and young people to receive a good education despite not having the opportunity for education herself. The spiritual legacy she left with her compassion, generosity, and dignified stance continues to touch the lives of each of our students who reside in the dormitory that bears her name today.
At this meaningful gathering, we once again fondly remembered Fatma Göksu Hanımefendi as a valuable mother and philanthropist who left a mark on the lives of our young girls. We sincerely thank all our guests who came together with us on this special day.
