An International Investment in Education in the USA: Our TURKEN Student Dormitory is Now Open
As TÜRGEV, we continue to uphold our vision of serving youth not only in our country but also abroad. In line with this vision, we opened our student dormitory built by our affiliate TURKEN Foundation in Manhattan, New York, one of the most central locations in the United States, on July 30, 2025. With this special project, we take pride in providing Turkish youth with a safe, modern, and versatile living space.
A Living Center Equipped with a Capacity of 204
Our dormitory in New York consists of a total of 80 apartments, accommodating a total of 204 students, with 102 female and 102 male residents. Our structure, which includes 56 studio apartments, 22 two-bedroom apartments, and 2 one-bedroom apartments, is designed to be suitable for both individual and social living.
We Offer More Than Just Shelter; We Provide a Development Space
Our dormitory is not just a shelter; it is designed as a living space that supports our students' social, cultural, and academic development. We offer our students versatile opportunities with facilities such as a shared kitchen, laundry room, individual and group study areas, conference room, prayer room, and gym. We ensure the highest level of security with a 24/7 camera system and card access to provide peace of mind for our students.
We Are Neighbors to the World’s Most Prestigious Universities
Our dormitory is also notable for its proximity to world-renowned universities such as Columbia University, New York University (NYU), and Fordham University. While our students participate in various academic programs such as master's, doctoral, and language education, they also have the opportunity to establish social connections on a global scale.
A Global Support for Youth
With this project we are carrying out together with TURKEN Foundation as TÜRGEV, we contribute not only to the academic but also to the cultural and personal development of our youth. We offer a variety of activities to our students, from seminars to workshops, and from cultural events to individual support programs.

With this dormitory, we are bringing Turkey’s vision in education to the international level, continuing to support our youth at the center of the world without leaving them behind. As TÜRGEV, we will continue to realize many more projects with our belief in education, youth, and the future.
