The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) has granted funding to our student Başak Sürer’s research project, which aims to develop an urbanization model compatible with nature around the Asi River in Antakya, under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program.
TÜRGEV The Road Leading to TÜBİTAK from Its Homeland
Sürer, a final year student in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Akdeniz University, aims to develop sustainable landscape analyses around the Asi River, intertwined with the historical and cultural fabric of Antakya, and to create settlement models compatible with nature. The project also aims to produce data regarding climate change, the conservation of water resources, and ecological balance.
As TÜRGEV family, we continue to encourage especially female students to engage in production in science, environment, and technology-focused fields. In this context, we congratulate our student Büşra Sürer from Fatma Aliye Hanım Higher Education Girls' Dormitory for her achievements.
As TÜRGEV, we have provided and continue to provide support for all our students' social and academic activities.
