In the fourth mobility of the Erasmus+ project "STEAM: Designing Tomorrow from Campus to Classroom," conducted under the coordination of Aydın Adnan Menderes University with the support of the Turkish National Agency, project partners from Estonia, Poland, North Macedonia, and Turkey came together. During the mobility, evaluations were made on training modules that will support teachers in effectively using advanced STEAM approaches in their lesson processes, and discussions were held on the dissemination of project outputs.

International Cooperation and STEAM-Focused Studies

In the program, which included a total of 15 participants, the educational contents developed by the project partners were reviewed, and practices that would contribute to teachers' ability to bring innovative learning methods into the classroom were discussed. Throughout the meetings, good examples of the use of the STEAM approach in education were shared, and common areas of collaboration were evaluated by comparing practices in different countries.

Educational Practices Were Examined On-Site

As part of the mobility, a technical visit was made to Panajot Ginovski Middle School, the North Macedonian partner of the project. During the visit, STEAM-focused educational materials developed within the school, design thinking methods, and examples of experiential learning were examined. Participants also had the opportunity to observe the school's educational environments on-site, received information from local teachers about educational practices, and made evaluations regarding the education system in the Balkans.

Cultural Heritage and Local Life Experience

As part of the cultural visits conducted during the program, Matka Canyon and the city of Ohrid, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, were visited. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the region's natural beauties, historical structures, and cultural heritage while getting to know different cultures closely.

Additionally, observations were made regarding North Macedonia's traditional living culture, architecture, and social life through a visit to Ethno Village. While examining structures that reflect local life, practices aimed at preserving cultural heritage were also evaluated.

Project Outputs Were Evaluated

In the final meetings held during the mobility, the outputs obtained throughout the project were discussed, and exchanges of views were made on good examples that could be applied in partner institutions. Thus, participants had the opportunity to both get to know different cultures and enhance their knowledge and experiences regarding STEAM-based educational practices.
