TÜRGEV What Does It Do?

TÜRGEV, knowing that education is a universal power, strives to prepare our children for the future in a strong way; it aims to raise conscious, entrepreneurial youth who are aware of their roots, confident, and can adapt to a developing Turkey that knows its history and goals, researches, questions, learns, produces, and contributes to the construction of the new Turkey, and can have a say in international platforms in a global world where balances are changing.

TÜRGEV Who Does It Address?

TÜRGEV provides services to secondary and higher education students in 60 dormitories across 32 provinces. It welcomes students at the beginning of their educational lives with the Palet kindergarten, which is the first in Turkey to offer Montessori education. Later, when we welcome our students in secondary and higher education dormitories, we do not only support their commuting to and from school. The education we provide within the dormitory continues to support the students of TÜRGEV. TÜRGEV has also expanded its claim to be present in every field of education with the establishment of Ibn Khaldun University in 2015. Ibn Khaldun University was established as a social sciences university. Because we want our children, who start their school life by asking questions at the kindergarten level in Palet, to continue their education with a similar perspective in university by experiencing life and producing their own questions.

With our EDEP project, we elevate our students from university level to post-doctorate level; by providing education in both English and Arabic, we ensure they reach a level where they can give conferences and write articles in these languages, thus taking an important step in their education. We want to raise them as double-winged scientists by educating them in Islamic Sciences and Social Sciences. Supporting our students in this way is our motto, not only in their domestic studies but also in their international endeavors.

Together with the Ensar Foundation, we also support them in continuing their education abroad through the TURKEN Foundation we established. We continue to support them by providing accommodation opportunities in the USA and the UK.

The first and foremost mission of TÜRGEV is to support youth and education.

How can I apply for a scholarship at TÜRGEV?

Students can apply for a scholarship by marking the “Available” option under the “Scholarship Request” heading in the Preliminary Application Form they fill out online. Students who request a scholarship must bring the necessary documents for the scholarship if they are invited for an interview. Otherwise, they will not be considered for the scholarship evaluation. What does EDEP do?

The Education Support Programs Center EDEP serves undergraduate and graduate students who want to receive education in areas such as Arabic language and tools sciences, Islamic and social sciences, in addition to university education.

These five-year programs, which support the development of students from TÜRGEV with a consciousness and ethics, are taught by leading instructors in the field.

When was Ibn Khaldun University established?

TÜRGEV established Ibn Khaldun University in 2015 based on its experience in the education sector. Ibn Khaldun University, which started its education in Başakşehir in 2017, continues its work in the field of Social Sciences.
