
TÜRGEV was in Erzurum for the Academy Winter Camp.
The traditional winter camp of TÜRGEV, where students staying in dormitories meet objective knowledge and values education in both Islamic Sciences and Social Sciences, took place this year from February 8 to 13, 2019, in Erzurum, Palandöken.
Aiming to raise young women who know their essence and civilization and are pioneering and qualified at both national and international levels, TÜRGEV Akademi programı did not neglect winter sports in the book reading themed camp.
As part of the Erzurum Trip; while visiting the Congress and National Struggle Museum, Three Tombs, Double Minaret Medrese, Abdurrahman Gazi Tomb, Erzurum Houses, Taşhan, Lalapaşa Mosque, Ulu Mosque, and Yakutiye Medrese, Poet and Writer Nurullah Genç held a productive interview with students on the second day of the camp on the topic of "The Impact of Poetry and Literature on Youth."
On the third day of the camp, Associate Professor Dr. Ayşe Bayrakçeken, who has made a name for herself in the scientific world with her developed nanomaterials and is the recipient of the 2017 TÜBA Successful Young Scientist Award, met with students and answered their questions after her comprehensive presentation under the title "Science and Technology."
Fatmanur Altun, the Chair of the Board of Directors of TÜRGEV, Board Member Tülay Kalav, and General Manager Mr. Oktay Altındiş shared their experiences with the students, along with Erzurum Deputy Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu, who did not spare her support from the idea and preparation phase of the program until its last day. After the gift presentation and photo session, the students of TÜRGEV Academy, who will say hello to the second term with classes starting on Saturday, February 16, gathered strength before the intensive program and returned to Istanbul.
