Breath from TÜRGEV to the Future: Memory Forest with 21,115 Saplings

We are also contributing to Turkey's environmentally friendly policies and its fight against climate change as TÜRGEV. In the last five years, we have planted 21,115 saplings as part of the Memorial Forest Project we implemented. Each sapling not only breathes life into nature but also symbolizes a living legacy we will leave for future generations.

We are contributing to Turkey's environmentally friendly policies and its fight against climate change as TÜRGEV. In the last five years, we have planted 21,115 saplings as part of the Memorial Forest Project. Each sapling not only breathes life into nature but also symbolizes a living legacy that we will leave for future generations.

The Memorial Forest not only revitalizes nature; it also strengthens our youth's awareness of environmental responsibility. With the contributions of our volunteers on the ground, we are collectively nurturing a model social movement that supports sustainable development.

We are particularly directing our sapling plantings to areas affected by forest fires. In this way, we are providing restoration to nature while also reinforcing our youth's ecological awareness. During the ceremony we held in Çekmeköy, our volunteer youth and foundation managers together placed the sign prepared for the Memorial Forest, crowning this shared legacy.

During the ceremony, our managers shared the following message: "We are working hand in hand with our youth for our green homeland. Each sapling is a symbol of resilience in the fight against drought and a living legacy left for the future."

This approach, which combines education with environmental awareness, is found to be in line with the sustainability criteria of international organizations such as the United Nations, FAO, and WWF. As TÜRGEV, we see the Memorial Forest as a beginning and aim to undertake many more green projects led by our youth.
