On Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı (TÜRGEV), an event titled "TÜRGEV Erasmus+ Days – Experience Sharing and Erasmus+ Opportunities" was organized to promote the international education and volunteering opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program with the support of the Turkish National Agency. The event took place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 15:00 to 18:00 at the Güzel İşler Fabrikası (GİF) Safvetipaşa Education Campus in the Fatih district of Istanbul.
In the program, volunteers who have experienced abroad under Erasmus+ shared their experiences. Participants were provided with detailed information about youth projects, volunteering activities (ESC), and the Erasmus+ application processes.
Erol Öztamur, the Chairman of the Board of the Social Kumbara Association, participated as a speaker in the event. The program, moderated by Ayşe Gizem Özcan, included inspiring success stories, Q&A sessions, and networking activities. In the information contest held during the event, surprise gifts were awarded to the top participants, along with the opportunity to experience Erasmus+ abroad with TÜRGEV.
TÜRGEV has signed numerous national and international projects under the Erasmus+ program to date. The foundation has carried out projects aimed at helping young people gain experience in social innovation, volunteering, environment and sustainability, and digital transformation. In this context, youth exchange projects titled "Social Innovation Youth Movement" were conducted in Albania and Serbia, "Journey of the Seed – Youth Movement in Sustainable Agriculture" in Turkey and Lithuania, "Vocational Development Activity" in France, "Traces of the Past" in North Macedonia, and "Niche from the Lens" in Serbia. Additionally, many young people and youth workers participated in educational and volunteering activities in Europe and Turkey through projects such as "European Psychology Cooperation", "Digital Transformation for Education", "SOCIAWARE: Game Software School for the Social Integration of Disadvantaged Youth", and "Mobility for Young Volunteers".
Officials from TÜRGEV stated that the "TÜRGEV Erasmus+ Days – Experience Sharing and Erasmus+ Opportunities" event aims to contribute to young people's gaining international experience and the development of volunteering awareness.
Officials expressed, "As TÜRGEV, we have supported our youth's participation in education, culture, and social entrepreneurship networks in Turkey and Europe through the Erasmus+ projects we have carried out to date. With this event, we aim for more young people to evaluate international opportunities and actively contribute to youth mobility in Turkey in the new period."
The event was an inspiring meeting for everyone who wanted to meet young people who have experienced Erasmus+ and take the first step towards their own adventure abroad.
