With the support of the Turkish National Agency, the Aware Minds: Conscious Minds Erasmus+ Youth Project, coordinated by TÜRGEV, was held in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from November 1 to 10, 2025. The project, shaped around the theme of combating disinformation, brought together young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Turkey for a comprehensive training process.

Throughout the project, Bosniak, Serb, and Turkish participants received training on the types of disinformation, detection methods, and combat strategies. In workshops utilizing informal learning techniques, young people had the opportunity to express their own ideas and practice their English.

Participants, who combined theory and practice through group work, solidified what they learned by preparing short film projects that illustrated the effects of disinformation as the project came to a close.

As part of the program, technical visits were organized to various institutions to raise participants' awareness.

BHRT Radio-Television Institution

Mostar University

and other important institutions to learn about the work being done.

The project was also enriched by trips to cities such as Mostar, Travnik, Jajce, and Banja Luka to closely understand the cultural diversity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

All participants who successfully completed the training process were entitled to receive Youthpass certificates, which are internationally recognized, at the end of the project.
