The Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of TÜRGEV took place on Friday, May 31, 2024, with the participation of the foundation council members. Assoc. Dr. Fatmanur Altun, who has served as the head of the institution since 2018, handed over his duties to Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz.

In the meeting, Altun explained the goals achieved in the institutionalization process of TÜRGEV since 2018, emphasizing that philanthropy is a relay race and that everyone holding the baton strives to carry it in the best way possible. He stated that he will continue to work to contribute to the development of a youth that is free-minded, self-confident, inquisitive, questioning, productive, consistent in word and deed, and knowledgeable about their nation, values, and history; and that he will remain under the roof of TÜRGEV as a member of the foundation council in the future.

As a result of the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, Esra Albayrak, Ali Kamil Güzel, Fatih Selman, Burcu Birinci, Hakan Kekeç, Özgül Özkan Yavuz, Sultan Işık, Ömer Faruk Yeşilyurt, Murat Şeker, Feride Nur, Müberra Bingöl, and Muradiye Ateş became members of the Board of Directors.

In the consultation section of the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, the foundation council members emphasized the importance of the Palestinian cause, stating that they are always alongside the Palestinians against Israel's unlawful attacks and acts of genocide, and that they will be advocates for this cause until a free Palestinian state is established.

With the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting where the handover ceremony took place, Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz began her duties as the Chair of the Board of Directors of TÜRGEV.
