TÜRGEV The Summer School took place from July 16 to August 16 at GİF Safveti Pasha. During this period, high school students received training on topics that would help them develop personally and socially. We offered students artistic activities that they could not find opportunities for during the academic term as TÜRGEV, and we conducted activities aimed at identifying our students' areas of interest under the guidance of experts.

We also aimed to teach students concepts such as civil society awareness, social solidarity, and helping one another during the summer school. In line with this goal, we visited institutions such as Deniz Feneri and Yeşilay. We hosted the Earth Children Association at our educational campus. We carried out many activities ranging from interactive reading to psychodrama workshops, from values education to modern and traditional art events. We provided interactive awareness training related to bullying to our students and discussed how we could develop a defense mechanism by getting to know the types of bullying more closely through examples.

Following the one-month Summer School, the closing program took place at the Rami Library. Certificates were presented to the students who successfully completed the program by our Board Chair, Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz.

Our Foundation President Akıncı Yılmaz thanked the first students of the TÜRGEV Summer School and our colleagues who carried out this project for the students in his opening speech. He emphasized the importance of the Summer School for our foundation with the following words:

"Teaching our children the values that make us who we are, reminding them of the fundamental concepts of our culture and civilization, and being a guide for them on the path of self-discovery was an invaluable experience for us. I know that we will see today's children as tomorrow's youth in various projects, social activities, and volunteer work. I believe there can be no greater gain or more meaningful output for our foundation than this."
