In the training courses, workshops, and field activities organized within the scope of our project, we focused on social entrepreneurship, business model planning, social entrepreneurship practices in Turkey, social impact analysis, and sustainability. We Produce, Experiment, and Learn Together with Our Participants
In the GENÇSİN project, we did not limit ourselves to just sharing knowledge; we created a democratic and inclusive learning environment by supporting the participation of young people in decision-making processes. We aimed to increase sensitivity to social issues and develop skills for thinking and producing together.
Through the technical trips we conducted during the project process, we gained both theoretical and practical insights. During our visit to Yaşayan Köy, we had the opportunity to observe the operation of a social enterprise on-site and experience the principles of sustainable living. As part of environmental activities, we spent time with our participants and horses, experiencing horseback riding. Then, during our trip to Beypazarı, we had the chance to examine traditional Ottoman architecture and the urban fabric on-site.
Inspiring Meetings in Ankara and Konya
GİF During our visit to our Ankara Campus, we got to know the working environments offered to unleash the creative potential of young people. In a conference attended by Expert Tuğba Şavlı from the Ankara Development Agency, we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Ankara.
In the Konya leg of our project, we visited the Capsule Technology Platform and the Social Innovation Agency. We gathered information about opportunities that would support young people's interests in entrepreneurship and technology. We also conducted examinations at social and cultural centers such as Taş Bina, Darülmülk Exhibition Palace, and Depot No.4. During our free time in Ankara and Konya, we also had the chance to individually explore the cultural fabric of the cities.
We Create Social Impact with Young People
Every stage we experienced together throughout the GENÇSİN project contributed to our personal and professional development. The knowledge we gained and the experiences we lived in the field of social entrepreneurship provided us with new perspectives for both today and the future. The solutions developed by young people with sensitivity to social issues became one of the most valuable outputs of our project.
