The GENÇ-AĞ (Youth Work Areas and Active Volunteering Network) project, which will be carried out under the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation with the coordination of TÜRGEV, will take place in Istanbul from August 17 to 28, 2026. The program aims to promote intercultural interaction and active participation while bringing together young people from different countries in an international learning environment to share knowledge, skills, and experiences.

As part of the project, participants will engage in comprehensive training and workshop activities on various themes such as volunteering, active citizenship, social impact, digital transformation, career planning, psychosocial well-being, and humanitarian aid. Throughout the program, which will be conducted using non-formal education methods, participants will have the opportunity to acquire theoretical knowledge and to apply what they have learned through practical work.

During the program, participants will meet with expert institutions and professionals in a wide range of fields, from artificial intelligence and future competencies to career planning, youth work and project development, combating addiction, healthy living, and volunteer management. The training and practical workshops will primarily take place at TÜRGEV Güzel İşler Fabrikası (GİF) Safveti Pasha Campus, while the corporate training program conducted by Turkish Airlines will provide participants with the opportunity to experience the business world on-site.

In addition to educational activities, corporate technical visits, cultural trips, and social events will also be organized as part of the project. Participants will gain work experience while closely getting to know Istanbul's historical and cultural heritage, and they will have the opportunity to develop intercultural communication skills and establish international friendships.

At the end of the program, participants will be entitled to receive the Youthpass Certificate, which is internationally recognized under the Erasmus+ Program. It is aimed that the knowledge and experiences gained during the project will be disseminated by the participants in their local communities, laying the groundwork for new international youth projects and sustainable collaborations.
