March 21–26 Forest Week is a meaningful week that reminds us that nature is entrusted to us, strengthens environmental awareness, and invites us to take responsibility for a sustainable future. Forests are not just communities of trees; they are the source of life, the guarantee of climate balance, and an indispensable element of the ecosystem. Our forests protect the soil, nourish water resources, clean the air, and provide a home for millions of living beings. At the same time, it is one of the most valuable legacies we will leave for future generations. Acting with this awareness is both an environmental and a moral responsibility.
The role of forests in combating climate change is vital. Afforestation efforts preserve the natural balance. Environmental awareness, when acquired at a young age, becomes permanent. Respect for nature is an inseparable part of our civilization consciousness. For this reason, Forest Week is also a time to remind ourselves of our responsibility towards nature. Every sapling planted is a hope left for the future.
We Are Strengthening Environmental Awareness
We continue our efforts with a vision of raising a youth that is connected to national and spiritual values, sensitive to the environment, and responsible. Through environmental awareness activities, social responsibility projects, and nature-themed programs carried out in our dormitories and educational centers, we aim to strengthen our students' environmental awareness. We believe that protecting nature is not only an issue of today but also of tomorrow.
Because we believe that a youth that protects nature, takes care of the entrusted, and develops a sustainable living consciousness is the guarantee of a strong future. We hope that March 21–26 Forest Week will increase environmental sensitivity, strengthen the awareness of responsibility towards nature, and contribute to the ideal of a greener Turkey.
