March 22nd World Water Day is a global day that emphasizes the vital importance of access to clean water and aims to raise social awareness about the protection of water resources. Water is not only the source of life but also the most fundamental blessing that shapes the development of civilizations. The increasing population, climate change, and unconscious consumption habits make the protection of water resources more important than ever. At this point, it is crucial to raise a youth with strong environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility towards nature.

We Respect Nature, We Are Committed to Values

We continue our efforts with the mission of raising individuals who are committed to national and spiritual values, sensitive to their environment, and have a high sense of responsibility as Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı (TÜRGEV). Through our educational programs, seminars, and social responsibility activities, we support our youth in increasing their environmental awareness and developing consciousness towards the protection of natural resources. Water conservation, recycling, zero waste awareness, and nature-friendly living habits are among the important topics of our work.

Through awareness-raising activities conducted in the dormitories and educational centers of TÜRGEV, we convey to our youth that water should not be wasted, that habits of saving should be acquired, and that the protection of natural resources is a matter of value responsibility. Thanks to the environmental-themed events, awareness campaigns, and volunteer activities carried out, our youth are growing up as sensitive individuals towards nature and contributing to the formation of social consciousness. We believe that protecting the environment is also a consciousness of being entrusted to future generations.

We hope that March 22nd World Water Day will serve to better understand the value of water, increase awareness of conservation, and spread sustainable living habits. As TÜRGEV, we will continue our efforts with determination for a youth that is environmentally conscious, aware, and value-oriented.
