The TÜRGEV Volunteer Camp'25, aimed at strengthening the young volunteer network of TÜRGEV and supporting students who will participate in volunteer activities on campuses, has started under the auspices of Ibn Khaldun University.

At the camp organized this year by Ibn Khaldun University, university students from cities where GİF campuses are located will have the opportunity to get to know the culture of volunteering more closely and gain skills to contribute directly to the field. The camp, held from August 4 to 10, draws attention with its content production, project and event management, mobile video-photo techniques, as well as sightseeing programs aimed at exploring Istanbul.

As part of the camp, students will also participate in special sessions based on experience sharing, meeting with competent and inspiring figures in their fields. Experts from various areas, from editing to communication, project development to media literacy, will meet with the youth.

Participants will support their individual development through workshops and training held during the camp and will also prepare for the responsibilities they will undertake as volunteers on campuses. Young people who are new to the GİF volunteer network will start to take active roles in TÜRGEV campuses with the personal action plans they will prepare at the end of the camp.

With a total of 40 participants, the GİF Volunteer Camp contributes to strengthening a qualified volunteering model where young people act with social responsibility awareness.
