GİF Orchestra's Unforgettable Concert in Malatya for International Women's Day
As TÜRGEV, we signed a meaningful organization that elevates the profound heritage of our civilization by blending the wisdom, selflessness, and resilience of Turkish women with the elegance of art. Our Beautiful Works Factory (GİF) Orchestra held an unforgettable concert in Malatya, celebrating March 8th, International Women's Day, with the unifying power of art.
In the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan, the concert featuring our GİF Orchestra, hosted by the Malatya Metropolitan Municipality, touched hearts with melodies infused with love for the homeland and nation. Once again, art resonated on stage as a carrier of our national and spiritual values.
In his opening speech, Malatya Metropolitan Mayor Sami Er stated that women are the fundamental pillar of our civilization and the most important building block in raising generations, emphasizing that the GİF Orchestra preserves this sacred heritage through art.
The national spirit of art and the spiritual power of women
Our GİF Orchestra, composed of female artists, is not just a music ensemble; it has also made a historical note as a cultural art movement that facilitates women discovering themselves and strengthening with national and spiritual values through art.
Our Board Chair, Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, included the following statements in her evaluation of the event;
"Turkish women have been the cornerstone not only of their families but also of our nation with their faith, courage, and selflessness throughout history. As TÜRGEV, we continue to preserve this sacred heritage with the elegance of art and contribute to the vision of the Century of Turkey."
Believing that art should meet with national spirit and spiritual consciousness, TÜRGEV began its work by establishing the GİF Women’s Orchestra in Vezneciler on June 2, 2023, in line with this vision. This special group, which brings together 24 female musicians from different educational backgrounds, continues to share the unifying power of art with over 1,500 art lovers to date.
