While the Hatice Hatun Girls' Student Dormitory in Gaziantep continues to serve earthquake victims, volunteers from the dormitory also participated in the organization held in İslahiye and Nurdağı.
The organization, which was also attended by General Manager Makbule Çabuk, attracted the most interest from children. Our volunteers, who are on the field with the motivation to help the children forget the disaster they experienced, even if just for a moment, and to bring smiles to their faces, met new people and created unforgettable moments. Activities and treats for children that started before iftar continued after iftar with the participation of adults as well. The Karagöz performance, in particular, received intense interest from children and parents.
The deep interest and love shown by the local people towards our volunteers led to emotional moments.
Our volunteers will continue to establish Brotherhood Tables in different cities under the coordination of AFAD.
