TÜRGEV, While continuing its efforts in the disaster area during the month of Ramadan, it continues to host in the provinces and districts where the earthquake occurred with a different organization.
This hospitality makes the children the happiest and provides them with unforgettable moments.
Parents are extremely pleased and happy to watch the play they have only seen on television in front of the curtain and to let their children watch it.
Hayali Atilla Yaprak, who performs the Karagöz play, confirms this and explains his adventure in shadow play as follows:
"In my childhood, I had listened to a performance by master Orhan Kurt and was very impressed. My curiosity about Karagöz increased even more, and I started to learn the Karagöz performance by going to different places with the master for 25 days. My dreams came true. I am currently doing this job with love and believe that it is very important to pass this tradition on to future generations. I am very pleased that the Karagöz play is included in the Kardeşlik Sofrası organization. Being able to touch our children in the disaster area with Karagöz, to make their faces smile, and to pass on the tradition to our children, who are our future, is very precious and important to me."
Our iftar in İskenderun, which took place with the participation of our General Manager Makbule Çabuk, was also attended by Afyonkarahisar Governor Assoc. Dr. Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, İskenderun District Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, and Manyas District Governor Koray Çelik. They congratulated our volunteers who continue their activities in the disaster provinces and districts by participating in such a comprehensive organization.
We thank the people of Gölbaşı and İskenderun who shared the blessings of Ramadan with us, and we look forward to meeting again.
