We set up our tables and activity areas in the districts of Türkoğlu, Elbistan, and the center of Kahramanmaraş.
Our volunteers played many games with the children in the region, from face painting to sack races, and from tug-of-war to egg-and-spoon races.
Sercan Aydemir, also known as Spiderman, who came to the region as part of our organization, expressed that playing games with the children before iftar and being able to make them smile even a little was very valuable and rewarding for him.
Bahri Gören, the driver of the Brotherhood Table truck, stated that he has traveled countless kilometers in the transportation sector for twenty years, but he has never had such an enjoyable journey, and that having iftar with our earthquake-affected brothers made him forget all the fatigue of the road.
Our volunteers will continue on the Brotherhood Table route and will meet with children and their families in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş on Monday, April 17.
