The TÜRGEV team participated in the International Youth Tourism Festival 2025 held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from August 18 to 23, 2025, marking an international gathering of youth in the fields of culture, tourism, and education.

The festival, hosted by the Singapore Institute of Management Development in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, was organized in collaboration with the Islamic Academy, Kokand University, and Tashkent State University of Economics. The five-day program brought together youth from different countries around tourism, business, and culture.

On the first day of the festival, the Pusula Yetenek Yönetimi Merkezi team visited Tashkent's historical and cultural sites such as the Islamic Academy campus, Hazrat Imam Complex, Kukeldash Madrasah, and the Timurids Historical Museum. Participants had the opportunity to closely experience the city's cultural heritage.

Official Opening and Traditional Taste Experience

During the official opening ceremony of the International Youth Tourism Festival held on August 19, delegations from different countries were welcomed. As part of the program, a pilaf-making workshop introduced the traditional flavors of Uzbek cuisine to the youth.

Samarkand: The Pearl of the East

On the third day of the festival, the program continued in the historic city of Samarkand. The Pusula team explored some of the world's most important cultural heritage sites, including Registan Square, Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Shah-i-Zinda complex, and Ulugh Beg Observatory.

International Experience for Youth

As TÜRGEV, we aimed to enhance our youth's international cultural interactions and broaden their horizons with the participation of the Pusula Yetenek Yönetimi Merkezi team. The International Youth Tourism Festival 2025 contributed to our youth's acquaintance with different cultures, gaining new experiences in the field of tourism, and strengthening their perspectives for the future.
