The Brotherhood Table took place on its tenth and final day in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the earthquake, with the participation of our Board Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmanur Altun.

Our Board Chairman stated that they aimed to remind people of the feeling of being hosted at a Ramadan invitation at the Brotherhood Table. He said, "Let’s lay beautiful tablecloths, set a table, and serve all our guests gathered around it," and added, "Despite being the hosts of the invitation, we were welcomed with the hospitality and generosity of these lands."

Altun, who said they were inspired by the spirit of solidarity shown by our people after the disaster, expressed that this feeling of unity strengthens us all and increases our spirituality. He wished that the difficulties experienced in the region would be resolved as soon as possible in honor of the blessed Night of Qadr and that the wounds of the disaster would be healed quickly.

At the event where prayers were made for the Quran recitations of our citizens and TÜRGEV students who participated in the Brotherhood Table, the spiritual atmosphere of the Night of Qadr and the sadness of the closing event were felt. At the end of the night, there were smiles on the faces gathered around the dream curtain.

For a month, TÜRGEV, which hosted in ten districts of Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Hatay, and Kahramanmaraş, aims to continue its work in the region with new projects.
