The Erasmus+ project titled "Journey of the Seed - Youth Movement in Sustainable Agriculture" coordinated by TÜRGEV has been completed in Lithuania with the support of the National Agency.

In Turkey, 40 participants were included in the project carried out in partnership with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and Asociacija Tavo Europa in Lithuania. Participants who received various trainings on topics such as organic and biological farming and the preservation and hybridization of heirloom seeds organized group workshops to develop new practices that could be implemented in Turkey and Lithuania by comparing traditional and modern agriculture.

In the following days, research was conducted on the connection between the principle of "Green Europe," one of the fundamental perspectives of the European Union, and global sustainability goals, providing a discussion environment for all participants. Participants shared ideas on waste attitudes and recycling activities with the concept of a "new frugal world."

In the capital Vilnius, project participants engaged in intercultural interaction and visited Green Tech, one of Lithuania's largest recycling factories, where they had the opportunity to observe the stages of recycling in the factory.

At the end of the project, certificates were presented to the participants, and gifts were given to the educators and facilitators who contributed.
