We care about preparing young people for the needs of a changing world as individuals who not only use technology but also understand, produce, and develop it. With this approach, we have opened applications for our project AI CRAFT: The Power of Artificial Intelligence in Art.

In our project supported by the Istanbul Development Agency's Artificial Intelligence Technologies Financial Support Program, we are bringing together artificial intelligence with culture, art, design, and digital content production. With our program, where young artists, designers, creative entrepreneurs, and digital content producers can practically experience current artificial intelligence tools, we aim to contribute to the development of the new generation of competencies needed in the creative industries.

With AI CRAFT, in which Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Communication, the Education and Youth Research Association (EGADER), and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education are among our project partners, we aim to develop both the technological skills and creative production capacities of young people.

An Educational Model from Learning Artificial Intelligence to Producing It

We have designed AI CRAFT, which we will carry out at our GİF Education Campus, as a hybrid educational model where theoretical knowledge is directly transformed into production.

In our program, we bring together online trainings, live mentor meetings, and face-to-face practical workshops. While participants learn basic concepts and current artificial intelligence tools through online trainings, they will receive feedback from trainers in Mentor Lab sessions and will transform what they have learned into their own projects in face-to-face workshops.

With a total training capacity of 624 hours, each participant completing the 8 phases of the AI CRAFT program will benefit from a total of 152 hours of training. In our program, which will be conducted free of charge and with certification, there will be online trainings as well as live mentoring sessions and production-focused face-to-face practical work. We will conduct a 20-day face-to-face training focused particularly on production and project development processes.

From the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence to Digital Art, from Video to Entrepreneurship

The training program we have prepared within the scope of AI CRAFT consists of 8 phases, 41 modules, and 187 topics.

Participants will start their educational journeys with the basic working principles of artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence tools, ethics, and copyright. They will then work on fundamental topics of creative production such as prompt design, cinematography, storyboard, camera, lighting, and composition.

In the later stages of the program, we will carry out practical work in various disciplines such as digital visual production, character design, brand identity, sound and music production, podcasting, creative writing, and artificial intelligence-supported video and editing.

During the video production process, participants will work on text-to-video production, scene and character consistency, motion design, sound synchronization, and cinematic editing techniques. At the end of the trainings, we aim for participants to produce their own artificial intelligence-supported short film and digital content projects.

We Will Transform Creative Ideas into Ventures

We do not see AI CRAFT merely as an educational program where the use of artificial intelligence tools is taught. We are creating a holistic development area where participants can transform the skills they acquire into real projects, business models, and entrepreneurial ideas.

In this direction, we will also include topics such as content strategy, social media and digital campaign development, target audience analysis, value proposition, business model creation, budgeting, competitor analysis, and investor presentation in our program. Thus, we will enable young people to experience the process from the development of a creative idea to its transformation into a sustainable project.

Produced Works Will Meet in a Digital Exhibition

At the end of our program, participants will prepare their own final projects; they will transform their works into a portfolio, creating demo reels and professional career outputs.

We plan to present the original digital art and content projects developed during the training through the AI CRAFT Digital Exhibition. This way, participants will not only complete their training but will also have a tangible portfolio with the works they have produced that they can use in the professional world.

Who Can Apply for AI CRAFT?

Candidates interested in artificial intelligence, digital art, design, video, sound, content production, and entrepreneurship can apply to our program. AI CRAFT does not require advanced knowledge of artificial intelligence; it appeals to a wide participant profile from high school students to university students and recent graduates, from those newly introduced to artificial intelligence to artists and content producers, and to entrepreneurs who want to develop their own digital projects.

Parental consent will be required for applicants under the age of 18.

Applications Will Continue Until August 30

Applications for our free AI CRAFT: The Power of Artificial Intelligence in Art training program will continue until August 30, 2026.

We will announce the results of the application evaluation on September 5, 2026. Our trainings will start on September 17, 2026.

With AI CRAFT, we aim for young people to be individuals who not only use artificial intelligence but also produce, develop, and transform their creative ideas into the projects of the future.
