The Social Innovation Youth Movement Project took place in Albania.

Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı (TÜRGEV) has signed an important project aimed at increasing young people's awareness in the fields of social innovation and entrepreneurship and contributing to the development of their innovative thinking skills. The project, supported by the Turkish National Agency and carried out in collaboration with the Youth Activities Center, was held in the city of Durrës, Albania.

Within the scope of the project, participants gained different perspectives in the fields of social innovation and entrepreneurship, and carried out studies aimed at providing innovative solutions to social problems. In the workshops organized, participants were provided with information about the fundamental principles of social innovation and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Participants visiting Durrës Aleksandër Moisiu University observed the academic environment on-site and exchanged information with university officials and academics. Additionally, through the visit to Qendra Art dhe Aktivizem, an important center in the field of social entrepreneurship, detailed information was obtained about the development process, mission, and goals of social enterprise projects.

To better understand the historical and cultural texture of Albania, participants conducted a city tour and visited important structures such as Durrës Castle, Durrës Archaeological Museum, Durrës Amphitheater, and the Byzantine Forum.

As TÜRGEV, we will continue our projects to ensure that young people gain international experience, get to know different cultures, and develop their innovative thinking skills.
