We were in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, between May 5-13 as part of the Erasmus Project titled Digital Transformation for Education (2021-1-TR01-KA153- YOU-000010862) supported by the Turkish National Agency.

In the mobility that included 15 youth workers from Finland and 15 from Turkey, participants had the opportunity to explore the potential impact of digital transformation on education and to look at different aspects of education transformed by technology.

In the first session of the project, project participants received training on effective digital assessment, feedback tools and examples, the benefits of digital assessment and feedback, and the development of limitations, and listened to the experiences of participants who experienced the Finnish education system.

The second session focused on topics such as investigating the importance of teacher professional development in the digital age, discussing different types of teacher professional development programs, and addressing examples in effective teacher professional development programs. The session concluded with discussions on the challenges faced by digital transformation in education, exploring the opportunities offered by digital transformation in education, how to address challenges, and how to take advantage of opportunities.

A technical visit was made to the Arcada University of Applied Sciences. Here, participants witnessed the ability of digital tools used in education to guide and shape the era, as well as the interactive learning and instant class participation system developed by the institute.

Project participants made a cultural exploration on Suomenlinna Island. They visited the National Library of Finland and experienced digital workspaces. During their technical visit to Laurea University of Applied Sciences in the city of Espoo, they exchanged ideas on the potential impact of emerging technologies on education and how to prepare for the future of digital transformation in education.

They conducted cultural tours at tourist sites such as Uspenski Cathedral and Temppeliaukio Church to explore Finland's historical structure.
