
The Closing Program of the SOCIAWARE Digital Game Development and Personal Development Camp, which is supported by the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey, in which TÜRGEV is a partner and coordinated by EGADER, was held on Saturday, August 10.
The closing program of the SOCIAWARE Digital Game Development and Personal Development Camp, supported by the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey, in which TÜRGEV is a partner, was held on Saturday, August 10.
The SOCIAWARE Project, which started on Monday, August 5, brought together young people interested in game software and wanting to produce games. They visited industry sites, received theoretical training, and through teamwork, our 30 students developed digital games in 8 teams over the course of a week at Bahçeşehir University Campus. The project teams were evaluated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güven Çatak, Head of the Digital Game Design Department at Bahçeşehir University, and the Jury during the closing program held at the Rami Library.
In the opening speech of the program, our Board Chair Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz expressed their satisfaction in contributing to the training of local developers in the field of game development.
The first-place team not only had the opportunity to showcase the games they developed at the TÜRGEV stand during the TEKNOFEST’24 event but also won an Event of Gaming Istanbul Indieway September Event Ticket.
The second-place team was gifted an Event of Gaming Istanbul Indieway September Event Ticket, while the third-place team received a gift voucher from the Steam Game Platform.
