SOCIAWARE: Game Software School for the Social Integration of Disadvantaged Youth” is the name of the ERASMUS+ project for the Portugal process, where we were in the cities of Lousada and Porto.
Together with our team from Turkey, Germany, and Portugal participating in our project, we tried to get to know the cultural structure of Portugal by visiting the cities of Lousada and Porto. We had the opportunity to visit the Romanesque Rute Interpretation Center in Lousada and the Game Software Center and Heritage Monuments in Porto. We experienced the “Includoteca” project in Lixa Felgueiras and gained experience in board games. After the completion of the Portugal process, the project participants returned to their countries.
Thus, the ERASMUS+ project named “SOCIAWARE: Game Software School for the Social Integration of Disadvantaged Youth” has been completed. Participants reinforced what they learned in the 184 hours of online courses on Scenario, Story Structuring and Technical Writing, Animation and Cinematography, Game Publishing, Graphic Design, and Modeling at Bahçeşehir University with visits and achievements in various countries. In the next phase, they will collaborate to develop joint game software and design new projects.
